Eleveo is proud to announce the addition of James Branam as the new Vice President of Engineering. James brings a wide range of experience and years of leadership to his new role, including over 20 years in software engineering and leading globally distributed software development teams. James has formal training in Management, Leadership Development, Technical Writing, and various programming languages. He's also a professional writer with 31 published books, including a full-length novel.
Born and raised in the USA (Indiana), James graduated with dual degrees in English and German from Oregon State University and a subsequent MBA from Jan Amos Komensky University in Prague. He also graduated from the Defense Language Institute and served as a Czech Linguist in the US Air Force. James has called Europe home for over 35 years, the last 25 years with his family in the Prague metro area.
As Eleveo's VP of Engineering, James will oversee the company's development strategy and ensure Eleveo's 80-strong team of product owners, developers, and engineers are executing the company's product roadmap. He'll direct the ongoing process of developing new features and functionality to ensure those processes operate efficiently for Eleveo's internal team and our partners and customers.
